The Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention approach integrates mindfulness meditation practices with cognitive behavioral counseling strategies. MBRP uses empirically supported methods from Professor Allen Marlatt’s Relapse Prevention Training (RPT), Jony Kabat Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Zindel & Daniel Segal’s Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
