Computer Internet "CyberSex" Addiction : Virtual Sexual Encounters

Cybersex is typically viewed as an act that carries no real emotional bond or high-risk repercussions. Cybersex enthusiasts  most commonly engage in  sexually charged encounters by way of Intenet chat rooms or instant messaging systems.  The increasing popularity of webcams has made it possible for people to connect "remotely" to engage in fantasy that involves real-time visual sexual exchange.

A host of problems have emerged from the availability of internet pornography and the opportunity to engage in cyber-sexual relationships. Couples are torn apart by the "virtual infidelity" associated with such sexual interchange. Many have complained that they have come to suffer "sex addiction" because of the consequences associated with sex and internet technology.
