Enhance Your Twelve-step Program
There is a principle which is a bar against all information,
which is proof against all arguments, which cannot fail to
keep a man in everlasting ignorance.
That principle is contempt before investigation.

Please! Never Underestimate How Useful The Twelve Steps Can Be!
We admitted that we were . . .
. . . and became willing to go to any length for victory over alcohol.
“Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.”
“There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. Alcoholics Anonymous is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.”
Twelve-Step Fellowship Meetings
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Alanon and Codependents Anonymous (CODA) have organized numerous meetings throughout Seattle and the greater pacific northwest. They are a free help resource those confronted by problems of alcohol and substance abuse.
Please do not underestimate the power of connection in twelve-step fellowships to “help you go to any length for victory” over alcoholism and other drug addictions. Countless alcoholics and addicts would not be alive with out the support and structure of The 12-Step Traditions!

Behavior Change: Sick and Tired?
My practice helps people streamline (augment) their work with 12-step programs like AA, Alanon or CODA. Contemporary psychological perspectives and cognitive behavioral counseling can assist you in integrating what you are learning in twelve-step fellowships. These fellowships are “forever to remain non-professional.” So, professionally-guided counseling may help you resolve problems that remain “cunning, baffling, and powerful” influences that continue to sabotage your most valued relationships – and your very life. You may wish to consult me for referral to formal programs or for recommendations to Seattle’s best 12-Step meetings, resources that can help you resolve issues related to addictive and compulsive behavior problems. “Anonymous” programs for the following problems:
