It hard not to understand why someone in our current society might be impatient for change. The world we live in has two recurring messages on this subject. One, that we aren’t good enough. Two, that change is quick and easy. There is medicine that is supposed to fix our physical and mental health problems, products that will make us feel good, books that will give us all the answers, and milestones that will suddenly make life better. The media sells us on the idea of fixing our problems and it is easy to want to believe them because we know that actual change is difficult. Change requires us to take responsibility.
