Managing time can be hard and it may seem like we manage our time less than our time is managed for us by other people and circumstances that feel out of our control. If time management seems difficult, it may be easier to start with baby steps. Perhaps managing time at work is impossible, that still leaves some free time in which there is more control. Time management involves giving certain tasks priority over other tasks and expending effort on the prioritized tasks. In this way, the opposite of time management would be procrastination, or doing things other than those tasks which should have priority.
